BC Place Stadium, Vancouver, Canada
BC Place, located on the north side of False Creek in Vancouver, British Columbia, is a multi-purpose stadium owned by BC Pavilion Corporation (PavCo). Home to the CFL's BC Lions, MLS's Vancouver Whitecaps FC, and the annual Canada Sevens, it also houses the BC Sports Hall of Fame. Opened in 1983 with an air-supported roof, it underwent major renovations post-2010 Winter Olympics, featuring a new retractable roof. BC Place has hosted significant events like the 2010 Winter Olympics and the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. A venue for the FIFA 2026 World Cup, with costs estimated at $240-260 million.
