MetLife Stadium, located at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey, opened in 2010 to replace Giants Stadium. It serves as the home for both the New York Giants and New York Jets of the NFL and will host the 2026 FIFA World Cup final. Costing approximately $1.6 billion, it was the most expensive U.S. stadium at its completion. One of two NFL stadiums shared by two teams, MetLife Stadium has a capacity of over 80,000, making it New Jersey's largest stadium. It has also hosted Super Bowl XLVIII and will feature multiple matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
